PINK FLOYD DELICATE SOUND OF THUNDER​ 2020

Filmed at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum in August 1988 and directed by Wayne Isham, the Grammy Award-nominated Delicate Sound Of Thunder hits theaters for the first time at this global event. 

 

This 2020 version is sourced directly from over 100 cans of original 35mm negatives, painstakingly restored and transferred to 4K, and fully re-edited from the restored and updated footage by Benny Trickett, under the creative direction of Aubrey Powell / Hipgnosis._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

 

Similarly, the sound was completely remixed from the original multitrack tapes by Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, with Pink Floyd engineer Andy Jackson assisted by Damon Iddins.
