APPOINTMENT COMMANDER OF THE ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE - DAVID GILMOUR
On November 6, 2003, he was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace by Queen Elizabeth II for his contribution to music.

JIMI HENDRIX UK TOUR - PINK FLOYD
Together with Jimi Hendrix, The Move, The Nice, Amen Corner, Outer Limits and Eire Apparent, they embark on a UK tour. Their performance is 15-20 minutes and they go on stage between Outer Limits and Eire Apparent.
They performed almost every day twice and at the concert on the 18th, David O'List from The Nice group had to replace Barrett because he did not show up for the concert.

UK MUSIC HALL OF FAME - PINK FLOYD
Alexandra Palace in London witnessed the induction of Pink Floyd into the UK Music Hall Of Fame, who received the award along with a group of artists and Pete Townshend was in charge of presenting them.
David Gilmour and Nick Mason were in charge of collecting the award, with Richard Wright missing from the event and with the presence of Roger Waters in a video call from Rome, where he was preparing the presentation of his opera Ca Ira.

ROLAND PETIT BALLET SHOWS - PINK FLOYD
Together with the French choreographer Roland Petit, they offered a series of concerts performing their songs accompanied by a ballet. The concerts were in Marseille from 22 to November 26, 1972 and in Paris on January 13, 14 and February 3, 1973.

SOYUZ TM-7 SPACESHIP LAUNCH - PINK FLOYD
On November 26, 1988, the Soviet spacecraft Soyuz TM-7 carried into space the Delicate Sound Of Thunder cassette (although the boxes were left on Earth for reasons of weight), being the first rock music heard in space. Subsequently, the cassettes remained in the MIR space station.
Present on launch day were Nick Mason and David Gilmour, accompanied by French President François Mitterand at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Mason made an audio recording of the event for a future project.
