With these words and this photo it seems that Polly Samson, David Gilmour's wife, practically confirms a new studio album by the Pink Floyd guitarist.
It was more than a rumor that he was working on new material, due to some news and especially due to the photos published by Polly in which David is seen working in the studio, apart from other photos with Guy Pratt and other musicians, even one with Mark Knopfler, who we do not know if he collaborates on the new album or if they simply met in the studio.
Normally Gilmour always accompanies a new recording with a tour, even if it is not very long, so there is hope of at least being able to attend even a new concert.
