Recording prohibited at Roger Waters concerts in London

As with concerts this year, for example, such as Bob Dylan's, Roger Waters' concerts in London are completely prohibited from recording, with his consequent expulsion from the theater.

This email has been sent to all concert attendees for your notification.

"This show will be a phone-free event. The use of phones, smart watches and accessories or any other recording equipment will not be permitted in the performance space:

  • Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event.

  • We recommend arriving as close as possible to the doors opening time of 18:30 to allow for the added measures, and to bring a physical bank card for ease of purchase at the bars.

  • Guests will maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated "Phone Use Areas" within the venue.

  • All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.

  • All pouches and equipment will be sanitised prior to individual use.

Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories or other recording equipment) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security."

Every day the security measures are too strict, we understand that in a theater almost everyone recording or taking photos is very annoying, both for the artists and for others, but for the tickets you cannot have them for up to 24 hours before the concert and because of an internet code, it seems totally disproportionate to me.
