In a recent interview in Rolling Stone magazine, Roger Waters' son, Harry talks about his dismissal by his father after 14 years performing with him and his recent tour with the group Les Claypool's Fearless Frog Brigade in which there is also Sean Lennon, John Lennon's son on guitar where they perform the Animals album in its entirety.

Roger Waters visited Harry at his home in Santa Monica (California) before Christmas 2016 to give him bad news.

Harry had spent the last 14 years playing keyboard and organ in his father's band, which included three extensive world tours, but Roger was making changes for his upcoming Us + Them tour. "They fired me," Harry tells Rolling Stone. "It was pretty miserable."

Harry claims that he doesn't know why his own father let him go.

"I think he just wanted a change of blood, something new, something fresh.

"I'm not sure of his exact reasoning, but all but two people were fired.

But the other guys who were fired weren't his son, so it was doubly painful for me."

Currently, Harry has performed with the cover band Brit Floyd in three concerts in the United States, where he has coincided with the backup singer Durga McBroom and the saxophonist Scott Page.
